Soar above...

See through these eyes, Feel with these hands, I have not an ounce of doubt, That you are destined for greatness! Moving mountains, Silence the seas, Do not second guess, A Scarlet emerald, You are a rarity! Leave out all the voices in your mind, The only obstacle. You are only the heart that beats in action, Never give in, Never back down, Your essence lies in the tenacity of every effort, So smile and rejoice, Be kind and love, Be not the shadow of the wind, But the eagle who soars above the rough seas, Persevere and stay dedicated. Look within for light if you get lost. Even if that light is too dimmed, Remember that I will always believe in you. And I have faith that your fire within will reignite, Until the last step to the peak of the mountain, Until the depths of the cracks within the abyss You are destined for greatness.

Papa

Laughters aloud, You stretched my mind, My first teacher, Of crummy habits, A smile with my every quirk, Every hug with no wandering thoughts, I am a brighter light of you, you believed, You envisioned me only with the stars, despite all faults, Conversations that watered me, Prepared me well, primed and ready, My first ever friend, Of affectionate disposition, As I stem out towards the Sun, My roots are held deep, You are the soil that grounds me, Bearing fruit that never stumbles far from the tree.

As I watch you from afar

I am the valley, tight and shrouded, You are a mountain within the range, From afar I peeked at you, hidden. A magnificence that only grows in time, Those clouds that surrounds you, Do not listen to their thunder, It will only weather you,  From all your beauty and wonder, I tried to stream as loudly as I can, With rapids of white waves that splatters, But how can I compare, Your beauty, it peaks, I am down here while you are way up there, The harder I try, my depression gets bigger, As this longing gets deeper, your beauty, more refined. I hope you notice me meandering hearts as my rivers flow further, I will keep drawing until I'll reach the salty oceans.

Life's Company

It starts with two. Some may have one and others may have none. It may have started by love, Or it may be a consequence of fun. No matter the gender, none or two, Be grateful for these lessons are taught only for you. No matter how it began, there is always a gift in the end. A present so significant it changes the fabric of our nature. It could be a surprise or an elaborate plan. No matter what, the produce is for all our future. Protect them and nurture them to be blind, For only with imagination, we can preserve their minds. Some have them, some don't. Some have more than others. It can be bound by blood or choice. A connection so absolute no matter how it suffers. A place you can call home, safe and sound, Only the grateful will see it to be profound.

Black Sands

A pathless, baron land, Home to pebbles, rocks and black sand, Confronted by whistling of a band, A sway of melodies by instruments untouched by any hand, As the tumbles and rumbles get louder, A sight of an unfortunate event, Such comfort and warmth wearing thin, Coldness envelopes us to our brim, There is nothing prouder, Than the unwillingness to be hand in hand, These howling notes pierced my bare skin, As I stood beside a redundant relic while in sand it sinks, An unknowing dance shoved me into motion, No pause, No rest, Distant clouds trances me towards the Ocean, Where faint cymbals crash, A pathless return, Making out the way with previous depressions, With every step into the sand, the cold withered into each impression, Leading me home, an invisible attraction.
