March will be welcomed by a luminous beauty,
Round and perfect, embellishing the night,
A quarter way through of our yearly duty,
Of living life with progress in sight,
Night after night I shall gaze upon the skies,
That lunar light begging to be touched,
As its fullness dwindles in darkness disguised,
A crescent, the coming of the Ides of March,
Murder, disaster, diseases befall,
But fair not these mishaps, do not give up hope,
For the great and joyful things can always be hauled,
Honour this mark, be merry in smiles,
Minds to stay open and hearts to be filled,
Nothing can sway from these moments worthwhile,
For living is already a part of the thrill.
Middle of March, barely of misfortune,
Beaming with children in laughter and play,
Glee is the choice and be it our portion,
Cheers to possibilities! Hip Hip Hurray!
