Happy 10th Year Anniversary

For my Family, Lina & Joeri.

Yesterday is but a distant thought,

But these 10 years seem to pass with speed,

And today is the result of the haves, and have nots,

Lets not ponder on what 10 years more will need,

Instead lets look at today as a gift, a prize,

A welcoming invitation to celebrate,

May what comes be of a joyful surprise,

With new precious memories we are here to create,

As the love of 2 people transcends beyond,

Their lives, in blood or choice,

Encapsulating each one of us along,

Love felt in their every action, every voice,

For them, We have come from far and wide,

To witness the glory of a decade,

And in these years they have stood by our side,

Even when things get tough, they willingly stayed,

Of all the lessons I have learnt from you two,

One of which has changed me entirely,

Is that It does not matter what you choose to be true,

What matters is to believe in it whole-heartedly,

So to Joeri and Lina, thank you from the bottom of my heart,

For the many moments of soulful gain,

I am ever grateful to always have a part,

In your lives, through sunny days and in rain.

To many more years of adventures,

And Infinite more moments to share,

May you be blessed with endless treasures,

And bigger parties, I’ll see you guys there!

My Suffering

I have been broken, Fractured and sliced, Wounds that tore open, Bruised muscles across my thigh, Heartbreak is much worst, Loneliness that scarred, Tears that seem endless, A hurt that stretched out too far, But this is the ultimate pain, For nothing can describe the torture, A feeling like acid in my veins, Breaking my soul to such a horror, Yet no blood will be spilled, No tear I can show, No solution will reveal, Not mine, yet I can't let go, Nothing is more painful than to see your suffering, Difficult coming to terms, not being to control everything, But rest assured, through this pain, you'll have my support, No matter what happens, I am here. This is what I can afford, Love, Papa.

Happiness is not Wise

Do you want to know the secret, Of perpetual elation?
